CACHEFLUSH(1spp) RISC/os Reference Manual CACHEFLUSH(1spp)
NAME
cacheflush - flush instruction and data caches
SYNOPSIS
cacheflush [ range ]
DESCRIPTION
The cacheflush command may be used with a specified range to
flush a specific instruction and data cache. If you do not
specify a range, then the entire instruction and data caches
are flushed. The range of addresses should all be in k0seg
or have valid, cacheable mappings established in the trans-
lation buffer.
Ranges may be specified in the following three ways:
base Flush the contents of memory at address base.
base#count Flush the contents of memory starting at base
and ending at base+count.
base:limit Flush the contents of memory starting at base
and ending at limit.
