NAME

lfsquickcheck − Quickly check lfs disk for problems. 

SYNOPSIS

lfsquickcheck [options] deviceName

OPTIONS

−blockSize izeBlock size of file system. 

−superBlockOffset offset
Offset into device of the superBlock.

−dumpPrint out a description of the file system. 

−showDirLogPrint out the directory operation log. 

−fullPrint a full error analysis. 

−verboseOutput progress messages during execution. 
 

DESCRIPTION

Lfsquickcheck scans a LFS file system looking for problems.  It will report any inconsistency it finds.  It is similar to lfscheck except it checks only the inode map and runs much faster. 

BUGS

This program is one of Mendel’s private programs and may not be reliable.
