PIC — User Commands
NAME
pic − troff preprocessor for drawing simple pictures
SYNOPSIS
pic [ −Pt ] [ −x# ] [ −y# ] [ files ]
DESCRIPTION
Pic is a ditroff preprocessor for drawing simple figures on a typesetter. The basic objects are box, line, arrow, circle, ellipse, arc and text.
The optional argument −Pt specifies output device t; currently supported typesetters are va (or varian, the default), vp (or versatec), ip (or imagen). The options −x# and −y# reset the upper limit on width and height of the resulting figure. Their default settings are 8.0 and 10.0 (values are given and set in units of inches only). There is an internal limit of 32767 typesetter units to both horizontal and vertical limits. On a varian or versatec device, for example, this is 163 inches.
