NAME
     checkeq - check neqn files for syntax

SYNOPSIS
     checkeq [ filename... ]

DESCRIPTION
     Checkeq reports missing or unbalanced delimiters and .EQ/.EN
     pairs in input for neqn(1). If no filenames are given, the
     input is read from the standard input.

EXAMPLES
     This example checks the file example.eq for possible errors:

          checkeq example.eq

RETURN VALUE
     [NO_ERRS]      Command completed without error.

     [NP_WARN]      An error warranting a warning message
                    occurred. Execution continues.
