NAMETABLE(4)

NAME

nametable − CodeManager file name table

SYNOPSIS

Codemgr_wsdata/nametable

DESCRIPTION

The nametable file contains a table of SCCS file names (path names relative to that workspace) and a unique number represented as four 32-bit hexadecimal words.  Each entry in the table is terminated by a newline character. The nametable file is used by bringover and putback to accelerate the processing of files that have been renamed.  The hexadecimal words are derived from the Xerox Secure Hash Function.
