OSDIRSHTD(8) — OBJECTSTORE COMMANDS
NAME
osdirshtd − shut down the Directory Manager
SYNOPSIS
osdirshtd [ -f ] hostname
DESCRIPTION
This utility operates on the Directory Manager only.
osdirshtd shuts down the specified Directory Manager (defaulting to the value of OS_DIRMAN_HOST if set, otherwise to the local host). You must either be the super-user or be logged in as the uid of the owner of the osdir process to shut down the Directory Manager. Without the -f (force) argument, it asks you to confirm that you want to shut down the Directory Manager.
