DESCRIPTION

These scripts are called by rc (see brc(1M)) to initialize the communication options used by the IRIS. TCP/IP Ethernet communications are initialized by rc.tcp, the Network File System is initialized by rc.nfs, the network mail system is initialized by rc.mail, IEEE 488 communications are initialized by rc.488, and XNS Ethernet communications are initialized by rc.xns.
