     NAME
          showmap - display the contents of the color map

     SYNOPSIS
          showmap

     DESCRIPTION
          The frame buffer of the IRIS contains values which are
          translated into RGB values by a color map. showmap displays
          a square filled with patches of color, one for each color
          index.
