  NAME

    nfsd, biod - NFS daemons

  SYNOPSIS

    /etc/nfsd [nservers]

    /etc/biod [nservers]

  DESCRIPTION

The nfsd command starts the Network File System (NFS) server daemons that
handle client file system requests. The nservers parameter is the number
of file system request daemons to start.

The biod command, run on an NFS client, starts nservers asynchronous block
I/O daemons, which read-ahead and write-behind blocks from the client's
    buffer cache.
