NAME
devnm - Identifies special file associated with mounted file system
SYNOPSIS
/etc/devnm [name ... ]
DESCRIPTION
The devnm command identifies the special file associated with the mounted
file system where the argument name resides.
This command is most commonly used by /etc/brc (see brc(8)) to construct a
mount table entry for the root device.
EXAMPLE
The command:
/etc/devnm /usr
produces
/dev/dsk/c1d0s2 usr
if /usr is mounted on /dev/dsk/c1d0s2.

/etc/mnttab
EXIT VALUES
The devnm command exits with a nonzero value if it fails.
