  NAME

    xplot - Asynchronous plotting interface

  DESCRIPTION

    xplot provides a mechanism to write data or control information to the
    parallel port.  The interface supports Versatec, Centronics, and
    Intergraph Differential.

    The hardware to support the parallel port resides either on the Raster
    Operations Processor (ROP) graphics board, or on a dedicated plotter
    board.  The plotter board will only be available if a ROP board is not
    present.
