regis(1) CLIX regis(1)
NAME
regis - Modifies colors in a color virtual terminal
SYNOPSIS
regis [-t color] [-b color] [-h color]
FLAGS
The following flags are available with the regis command:
-t color The -t flag changes the color of the text displayed by the
color vterm window.
-b color The -b flag changes the background color of the color vterm
window.
-h color The -h flag changes the color of highlighted text on the vterm
display. Highlighted text is not the same as reversed text,
such as the black-on-white display on a monochrome terminal.
Rather, highlighted text is similar to text that is displayed
brighter or bolder than plain text on a monochrome terminal.
DESCRIPTION
The regis command allows users of a color virtual terminal (vterm -c) to
modify the terminal's text color, background color, and highlighting
color. Rather than requiring RGB values or ANSI escape sequences, regis
maintains a list of logical color names which are entered instead.
Entering the regis command with no arguments displays a usage message and
a list of all of the color mnemonics available.
Available colors are as follows:
aquamarine black blue cadetblue
cornflowerblue darkslateblue lightblue lightsteelblue
mediumblue midnight navyblue skyblue
