GDBAD(8I) — Unix Programmer’s Manual
NAME
gdbad − ISI test disk for bad sector rand reassign
SYNOPSIS
/etc/gdbad
DESCRIPTION
Like badd144(8), gdbad is a menu-driven, stand-alone utility used to map out bad blocks. Unlike bad144(8), however, gdbad uses a built-in SCSI block reassignment scheme.
To use gdbad, type gdbad at a shell prompt, then press RETURN. gdbad asks you to answer a series of questions. Usually a default answer will be displayed after the question. Simply press RETURN to enter the default answer to a question.
