LOGNAME(1,C) AIX Commands Reference LOGNAME(1,C) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- logname PURPOSE Displays your login name. SYNTAX logname ---| Warning: See restrictions, Chapter 18, AIX Programming Tools and Interfaces. DESCRIPTION The logname command writes to standard output the name you used to log into the system.
