NAME
       failoverd - failover network server

SYNOPSIS
       /usr/bin/failoverd

DESCRIPTION
The failoverd process is used to monitor communications between
failover hosts. When remote services are required by the
admfailoverdisk command, a failoverd process will be created on the
host that the services pertain to. This failoverd process will then
       service the request.

The failoverd is configured through either the admfailoverdisk(1M)
command or the admfailoverhosts(1M) command. The failoverd process is
configured as a service of listen(1M) (the network port listener for
tcp connections). The failoverd processes remote parts of the give,
       take, and sync operations.

The failoverd has no options or arguments and is not intended to be
       invoked directly by users.

FILES
       /etc/failover failover database files

DIAGNOSTICS
The failoverd will exit with a valid return status from executing the
admfailoverdisk command, or one of the following:
