NAME
mountd − NFS mount request server.
SYNTAX
/etc/mountd [−i]
DESCRIPTION
The mountd daemon is an NFS server that answers file system mount requests. It reads the /etc/exports file to determine which file systems are available to which machines and which users. It also provides information as to which clients have file systems mounted. This information can be displayed by using the showmount() command.
OPTIONS
−iTurns on verification of the internet address of the client against the /ect/hosts file for mounts and unmounts. The default is no address verification.
