TOUCHCAL(8)
NAME
touchcal − touch screen calibration
SYNOPSIS
config/touchcal
DESCRIPTION
Touchcal draws a grid pattern on the screen and puts a small, boxed cross hair in each corner of the screen in turn, waiting each time for the user to touch the centre of the cross hair with the stylus. The process is repeated until touchcal can calculate a transformation matrix that consistently maps the touch panel to screen coordinates.
It saves the configuration values it calculates in /usr/user/config/touchctl.cfg and /usr/user/config/touch.cfg. If those files exist on a subsequent call to touchcal, it uses their contents to set the transformation matrix, and if successful does not need to prompt the user.

BUGS
The grid pattern does not vanish when touchcal terminates.
It should store the values in a single file.
