manufacturebox-id

DESCRIPTION

­Manufacture initialises the file ­/nvfs/ID with the string box-id. The file emulates the serial number that the manufacturer of a real set top box would normally burn into ROM (see also ­rtcid in rtc(3)). The ­box-id is used by register(8).
