     NAME
rstrtunix - reboot the UNIX system; set system options

     SYNOPSIS
          /etc/rstrtunix [-m] [-p] [-e] [-n bootfile]

     DESCRIPTION
/etc/rstrtunix sets a number of system options and then
shuts down the system and resets the processor. The flag
options specify commands to the system startup program
          (bootstrap):

-m when the system restarts come up in the
Macintosh operating system, not as UNIX

-p when the system comes back up power it off

-e when the system comes back up do NOT run
                       eschatology, boot UNIX immediatly

-n bootfile when UNIX comes back up by default boot the
kernel specified by bootfile. The name of the
default kernel is stored in the file /nextunix.

This program is often used to force an autoconfiguration of
the kernel after installing new hardware or system software
          by using:

               /etc/restartunix -e -n /newunix

You must be super-user (root) to execute rstrtunix.

     FILES
          /etc/rstrtunix
          /dev/nvram
          /newunix
          /nextunix
