NAME
     catdump - create a message source file from an existing message catalog

SYNOPSIS
     catdump catfile msgfile

DESCRIPTION
     catdump reads the formatted message catalog catfile and creates a message
     source file msgfile.  If msgfile exists, it will be truncated and its
     previous contents discarded.

IMPLEMENTATION
     This is an extension command and is not specified in the X/OPEN
     Portability Guide.
