ROOTNODE(1) Domain/OS SysV ROOTNODE(1)

NAME
rootnode - change the node to which the root directory refers

SYNOPSIS
     rootnode //nodename

DESCRIPTION
rootnode causes / to refer to the node entry directory of //nodename
instead of the current node entry directory. The process must have
execute (search) permission for the node entry directory of //nodename.

Because a new process is created to execute each command, rootname would
be ineffective if it were written as a normal command. Therefore, it is
an internal command in the Bourne shell, Korn shell, and the C shell.
