NAME
     mtio - magnetic tape interface

DESCRIPTION
     The special files /dev/rmt* give you read-write access to magnetic tape
     devices.  Initially, these are configured with a block length of 10240
     bytes.  Use edmtdesc(8) to change or examine any aspect of a magnetic
     tape descriptor file.

FILES
     /dev/rmt8   rewind on file close

     /dev/rmt12  don't rewind on file close
