NAME
     intro - introduction to help

DESCRIPTION
                                OVERVIEW

The help system is designed to provide you with a convenient way to get
information about the Domain system. help is available on general
topics, such as the shell, the Display Manager, and Protection Rights.
help also explains how to enter shell and DM commands, describes which
commands to use for different functions, and provides complete
explanations of every shell and DM command.

                                  USAGE

help operates by opening a window on your display containing the file
which you have requested. The window will always appear at the same
position on the screen, although that position will vary between display
types (15-inch portrait, 17- and 19-inch landscape, and color displays).

You may notice an alarm bell that sounds after a help window has opened.
This is caused by the shell prompt reappearing in the shell process input
pad underneath the new help window. You can ignore the alarm; it is
     harmless.

Some help files contain more than a single window of information. Scroll
through these files using the boxed arrow keys on the left-hand keypad.

When you are finished reading a file, place the cursor in the help window
and type CTRL/N. This closes the window and returns you to the shell.

                               CONVENTIONS

The HELP files use the following symbolic conventions:

[ ] Square brackets indicate an optional item.
{ } Curly braces represent a list from which you must
                 choose an item.
         | A vertical bar separates items in a list of choices.
< > Angle brackets enclose the name of a key on the
                 keyboard.
