10.0;dr (define_region) *DM*, revision 1.0, 87/12/23
dr (define_region) place a mark to define a region
usage: dr
DESCRIPTION
The dr command marks some part of the display or some part of a pad. You
can use the mark to define a region for a substitute command, to grow,
shrink, or move a window, or to reposition the cursor.
You can specify a literal point at which the mark is to be placed by
preceding the dr command with line and column numbers in a pad, x and y
screen coordinates, or regular expressions for matching text. If you do
not specify a point, the mark is placed at the current cursor position.
By default, the MARK key invokes the dr command along with echo to
provide user-visible feedback.
