LLBD (LLB DAEMON) -- Local Location Broker daemon
usage: /sys/ncs/llbd
FORMAT
/sys/ncs/llbd
Llbd is the Local Location Broker daemon. A host must run llbd if it is to
support the Location Broker forwarding function or to allow remote access
(e.g., by lb_admin) to the LLB database. If llbd is to support remote access
from hosts in the IP address family, a TCP server (tcp_server) must be running
on the local node; tcp_server should be started before llbd.
To start the LLB on a running Domain node, enter the following Display Manager
command:
Command: cps /sys/ncs/llbd
To start the LLB on one node from another node, use the crp - on shell
command. For example:
$ crp -on //mahler -cps -n llbd /sys/ncs/llbd
To start the LLB automatically each time the node reboots, include the
following line in the node's `node_data/startup.suffix startup file, where
suffix indicates the display type:
cps /sys/ncs/llbd
